Bean Appetit
Yellow Pepper
Five new ways to try yellow peppers:
- Transform a seeded pepper half into an edible bowl. Fill with your favorite soup and eat it all!
- Use mini cookie cutters to cut out shapes of the pepper. Sprinkle shapes like party confetti on a yummy salad.
- Cut pepper into triangular strips. Arrange in circle around a cherry tomato half to make a fun flower. Throw in some orange and red pepper flowers to make an entire flower garden. Dunk slices in veggie dip.
- Puree roasted yellow peppers and blend with cheese in your favorite mac and cheese recipe.
- Make stoplight kabobs by rotating a red veggie (e.g. cherry tomatoes), yellow peppers and a green veggie (e.g. zucchini slices) on a kabob. Have an adult help roast your kabob. Get the green light to gobble!
